ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION TO TURKEY

General information about e-Visa Turkey

In April 2013, the Turkish government introduced an electronic visa (e-Visa) system. It enables travelers of nationalities included in the visa-exempt to apply for a visa via the Internet. All nationalities covered by this program have been released from a duty to have a granted by the embassy, regular visa.

To obtain an e-Visa it’s essential to complete the form available on our website. The results of applications are usually sent to the applicant’s inbox electronically within a few days. After you receive an approved e-Visa, it should be printed out and carried to the airport. Upon arrival in Turkey, a printed visa with a valid passport is required.

An e-Visa remains valid for 180 days from the intended date of entry to Turkey. Depending on the nationality that is noted on your passport it can be either single or multiple entry authorization that enables your stay in the country for a maximum of 30 or 90 days. An e-Visa enables travelers to cross the Turkish border for tourist or business purposes. The availability of a particular type of visa depends on the nationality of the applicant. Some travelers must also carry additional documents for the customs officials reference.
